The 2025 AMAP Annual Conference & Workshop was held October 14-16 in Lexington, Kentucky, with 195 attendees and 23 sponsors in attendance. The theme of this year's annual meeting was Distilling Innovation: Refining the Future of Asphalt Modification, drawing inspiration from the distilling process—transforming raw materials into their purest, most effective forms—and applying it to the evolution of asphalt modification technologies. Key focus areas included: innovating asphalt modification, sustainable solutions, precision engineering, extracting expertise, future-proofing roads, and advancing testing and standards.
This year's meeting location in Lexington gave AMAP the opportunity to collaborate with the Asphalt Institute (AI)on two unique events. Early arrivals had the opportunity to join AMAP and AI for a joint reception on Monday evening at the AI Headquarters.
Staff from AI also put together a tour of their research lab and facilities for attendees on Monday and Tuesday. Thank you to AI for the amazing tours and hospitality!
