The conference app, CrowdCompass by Cvent, will allow attendees to view all conference details found on the conference website and more.
Access session links from the app
A “Join Session” button will be located in the session description which takes you directly to the Virtual Room for the presentation. You must have the Zoom app already installed on your phone.
Connect with other attendees
A list of conference attendees will be available on the app. Send messages and exchange contact information with other attendees. Each attendee has the option to share their contact information or not.
Join the AMAP game by completing tasks such as viewing sponsor profiles. Earn points for each task. Top winners will win gift cards. 1st – $50 Amazon card, 2nd – $25 Amazon card, 3rd – $10 Starbucks card

How do I access the conference app?
There are two options to access the app:
Option #1: From the email that you registered the conference with, you will receive an invite from CrowdCompass to download the app. Follow instructions in the email.
Option #2: Go to the app store iOS or Android for your phone model. Download the CrowdCompass by Cvent app. Search for Upcoming events in the app using the word “AMAP” and the 2021 AMAP Conference event will display. To access the event, you will also need a password. Contact AMAP Conference Support if you did not receive an email from AMAP with attendee information.
All attendees names are already loaded onto the app. When you sign in with your name and email, it will search for a match. It will ask you to verify your email by sending you a code to your email. Enter code to access the conference information. If a match is not found, you may create a new login. For additional details on how to use the app, view the app info page on AMAP’s website.
Do I need the conference app to attend the presentations?
No, not if you are attending the virtual conference using your laptop. However, you do have the option to attend by using your phone in which case the app is useful. Otherwise, the conference app is an extra resource tool to allow you to easily view the schedule, speaker information, sponsor information and the attendees list.
How do I attend the conference from the app using my cell phone?
On the day of the conference, a “JOIN SESSION” button will be displayed on each of the session description page. You must have the Zoom app installed on your phone in order for it to work. If it asks for a password, use the same password provided to you in the “AMAP Conference Information for Attendees” email that was emailed on February 6. Contact AMAP Conference Staff for assistance.
