The Pavement Engineering & Science (PES) Program is part of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. The PES Program conducts high quality research in the areas of asphalt pavements design, performance, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction. The PES research activities are funded by federal agencies, state and local governments, and private industry. The PES research activities are conducted in the program's advanced AASHTO accredited laboratory by graduate students under the supervision of world-known faculty.
