Membership Categories

There shall be three classes of membership. These three classes constitute Member Companies:

A. Producer Members - Companies that manufacture and/or sell modified asphalt binders (as defined by the association) to the paving industry.

B. Supplier Members - Companies that derive significant income by supplying polymers, other additives and/or technology.

C. Associate Members - Companies that provide base asphalt, services and equipment to the Producer and Supplier Members. This group will include contract testing and mix design laboratories, consulting, engineering and research firms, and companies that manufacture and sell laboratory and manufacturing equipment, and companies that sell technology by royalty or fee for technology they develop.

D. Friends of the Association - Individuals from governmental agencies, students, and others interested in the advancement of modified asphalt binders in the paving industry as approved by the Board of Directors.

All persons applying for membership must be approved by the Board of Directors at their Producer meetings or by telephone conferencing.

Each member company shall have one vote in the Strategy Business Meetings and at the Annual General Meeting. Each member company shall designate the voting member of their group
